In life those around you influence your personality and choices of direction headed in life. I will tell you who and why I admire this unique individual. He is known for his talents and creativity rather than for the reality of his success. He goes by the name Curtis Jackson also known as "Fifty Cent".
Curtis Jackson was raised in the hard streets of Jamaica queens New York. More so he is recognized for his rap career and consistent hit singles. I however admire Curtis Jackson for a much different reason. I see his success in a different prospective. As a child I was taught that crime doesn't pay but Curtis proved that theory to be wrong. Along with being classified as one of the best in the hip-hop industry came life-threatening obstacles.
Curtis Jackson was heavily involved in the street life. I ask myself after being shot nine times and serving time in jail how does a man turn out to make millions. I admire the fact that he made something out of nothing. Without a G.E.D or a high school diploma he has been able to make four times the money then some lawyers and teachers. He is what the government calls the "Bad Guy".
Another quality I admire about Curtis Jackson is he didn't change his identity. After all his success he still promotes the street life and the essence of drug money. He puts more emphasis on his opinion that crime does pay, although it may not always be worth it. In my eyes he is Americas worst nightmare. For the individuals who consistently work hard to achieve their profession the legal way, most likely rather see his success fail.
In conclusion many people all around the world have a path to success. For some it may be legal and for others illegal. However, just because it's wrong in the eyes of the law, doesn't still mean it wasn't achieved the hard way. Curtis Jackson to some degree promotes the goodness of crime, but if you been through the same struggles and obstacles how would you maintain. This is why I admire Curtis Jackson.
