What we are working on First Quarter

Algebra
Introducing students to algebra, we will be studying patterns, evaluating expressions using variables, creating scatter plots and performing operations with the real number line.

Geometry
Students will become familiar the building blocks of geometry (lines, rays, planes, etc.) before tackling geometric proofs and logical reasoning.

Advanced Algebra
Students will be reviewing and expanding their knowledge of slope linear representation and solving equations.

Greatest Hitter Projects - 2004
Determine the Greatest Hitter of All Time in Major Leage Baseball. Research the statistics of several players, compile the data in an Excel spreadsheet and create a graph from the results. Produce a Power Point slideshow detailing your research and conclusions.
